Welcome to Open Door Recovery Center

Open Door Recovery Center provides individual and group didactic therapy for adult men and women who are recovering from substance abuse.

Our licensed addictions professionals support long-term recovery by

• educating clients about the neurobiology of addiction
• identifying dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors
• developing healthy coping and problem-solving skills

In addition to private counseling, we offer step-based, weekly recovery groups that are ideal for those in early recovery who have transitioned to independent living and who want to support their ongoing recovery process in a safe, structured and comfortable environment.

Open Door Recovery Center is a non-residential counseling center that is an extension of Next Step Recovery, Inc., a nonprofit that provides transitional living programs for adult men and women in Western North Carolina.
